M'Lou Caring, Ph.D.
M’Lou is the Director of Training at The Gestalt Center, and a psychologist with a private therapy/supervision practice in NYC. For over 30 years, her research and practice of meditation, body awareness, improvisational movement, and alternative healing have informed her Gestalt teaching and practice.
Sylvia Crocker, Ph. D.
Sylvia is the author of A Well-Lived Life: Essays in Gestalt Therapy, which is used by Gestalt institutes around the world as a recommended or required text. She has published numerous articles and book chapters and is a regular presenter at major conferences. She is a founding member of AAGT and is a Full Member of the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy. She holds several graduate degrees in Counseling, Religion and Philosophy. Her private practice is in Laramie, WY.
Sharon Goldblum Ranzman, Ph.D.
Sharon is faculty at the Gestalt Center and has taught for Empire State College. She maintains a private supervision and therapy practice on Long Island and is a Deeksha giver in the Oneness Movement tradition.
Naaz Hosseini, M.A., L.P.
Naaz is a NYS Licensed Psychoanalyst, Certified Gestalt therapist and voice empowerment coach with a private practice in Nyack and Manhattan. She is on the faculty of the Gestalt Center for Psychotherapy and Training. Her background includes craniosacral therapy, authentic movement, and professional dance, theatre and music. Naaz combines her skills to deliver unique, transformative experiences to groups and individuals that engage The Power of Your True Voice. Her inspirational voice and percussion CD, SoundPath, has been featured in Dance Magazine Recommends. She conceived and hosted Gurus of Gestalt, a cable TV series.
Rosary Immordino, MA, LP
Rosary is a NYS Licensed Psychoanalyst. She has a master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University Teacher's College and received her Gestalt training at the GCPT. Her areas of specialty are self-esteem, workplace issues, couples, interactive group work, OCD and pet bereavement.
Ken Meyer, Ph.D.
Ken is a co-founder of the Gestalt Center of Long Island and currently Academic Director at the Gestalt Center in NYC. He maintains a private supervision and therapy practice in NYC and on Long Island, and has studied in the New Kadampa Tradition programs.
Shelley Orren-King, L.C.S.W.
Shelley is the Executive Director of The Gestalt Center and a psychotherapist in private practice working with individuals, couples and groups. She has special expertise working with women survivors of abuse, neglect and trauma and is dedicated to supporting mental health practitioners in practice building and wellness programs within individual supervision and workshop programs.
Daniel Tisman, L.M.S.W.
Daniel is a psychotherapist in private practicein NYC. He comes to Gestalt therapy with a 15-year background
in theatre and the dramatic arts. He has been a student of yoga and Vipassana meditation for over 12 years.
Daniel has been the expressive arts coordinator for the YouthCounseling League, an outpatient mental health facility serving New York's adolescent community.
Vivien Wolsk, Ph.D.
Vivien is the Dean of Faculty and former Executive Director of The Gestalt Center and a clinical psychologist in private practice in NYC for over 30 years. She is presently working on a book “Emo-cise for Life”, has appeared on TV, and is often quoted in newspapers and magazines on topics related to emotional fitness and well-being.
Lee Zevy, L.C.S.W.
Lee is one of the founders and current Chair ofthe Board of Identity House in New York City. She is a pastPresident of the NYC Coalition for Women's Mental Health andof The New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy. Lee is a founderof the Lesbian Therapy Referral Network. She has maintained a private practice for over thirty years and teaches, lectures, writes and publishes extensively on many subjects.
